Course Number: PATN 422
This course will introduce students to computer software for institutions. Order entry and dispensing from a computerized hospital system will be gained. Students will dispense unit dose medications according to hospital guidelines such as automatic stop dates and automatic substitutions. Specialized skills such as repackaging and narcotic inventory control will be enhanced.
